Dress Code for King George Day is smart and sophisticated. Cocktail dresses and black tie are not compulsory, many ladies wear hats to this event and gentlemen usually wear a shirt and tie. The fashion stakes at this event are as high as at Royal Ascot but in a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
